another dodge in Switzerland
Hi guys,
just wanted to say hello to everybody out there.
My new 06 Mega Cab 6 speed / handshifted has finally arrived in cheesecountry and has passed the local DMV procedureshttps://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/new1/smashfreakB.gif
, etc. (Bought it in august on hollyday in the states...)

From San Francisco to Georgia by road, then to antwerpen(Holland) by ship and then to Switzerland around 5000.-$ A lot of money for shure...

I did the whole stuff on my own because at the time was buying the truck I didn't know of the existence of Calonder. It was a last minute purchase...

What do you have to do to the truck to run it over there?
Welcom to the DTR. Maybe we can have a DTR get together in Switzerland!!!!
I had to register the truck in the US first so that the truck would would be registered as used vehicle (17 miles on the counter, haha) in Switzerland because by the time it would arrive there, the new supertough emission-regulations would allready be in place (1st of Oktober 2006). In Switzerland they change the rules in the middle of the year, no problem! and without really informing the public...
Otherwise there was not much to be done (changing the lights, different standard, adapt towingplug, minor changes)

We are in Marrakech right now, sunny 25 C, perfect.
Not looking forward to go back to Switzerland for a month...
But at least I 'll get my truck!
