Jesse,
Well I was really worried about breaking so I wanted to get to pull early and I was wanting to try a big gear and If I didnt do well then just hook in the 8000 with my weights.
Also, they were paying if there were 8 trucks or more in the class.
I think we had about 10 trucks in the 7500lb class or so.
To get down under 7500lbs I had to even lose the bed mat

Well.
I think the clutch is ok but dont know for sure.
I'll know after I drive it through town the next couple days.
With the power I am putting down now and gears I am running I need the 4200lb Iron Giant.

Thanks guys.
Yeah it was 5th gear!
Gots to have the horses to run that high. I guess I got them nowadays...
I had a small dip in the rpm's when I first got out of the hole. The sled loaded me up good and then it came right back up to 3100 or so and kept until it shut the engine down at 327' I almost had it out in the grass!
I had the fastest track speed of the day along with farthest pull of the night.
I am still amazed how there is no smoke and no noise like other trucks from the 2nd gen arena.
Even the duramaxes smoke more.

5th gear low range? Thats direct low range? You could see the rpm bump in the pull where it loaded up a bit then grunted like an all iron ox and gone. Its so quiet it's like diesel electric power. ks
