Should I buy from the web site or try to find a local dealer.Reading old posts the unit I need is BMK21.I guess you just have to make your own lines.What size and grade are they.You would think amsoil would make a complete kit for those who want one.

You want the BMK-11. Their kit comes with about 7 feet of nylon covered line. I just went to a racing store and bought some braided stainless steel NOS line about 6 ft long.. I used the braided stainless line to run the return to the billet oil cap.
I mounted the bypass under my front ranchhand bumper.

You could buy the BMK-21 and just buy the hose a connectors separate from amsoil. For $20 you can buy the preferred customer package from amsoils website and get the discounted rate. Order twice and its paid for. You can always call amsoil and tell them your setup and they will tell you what you need.

I made a bracket and mounted mine behind the passenger headlight below the filter box. only needed about 4 feet of hose.

BMK-21 bypass mount kit
BP242 90 degree elbow 1/8 NPT x 1/4 JIC
BK1301 Aluminum Oil fill cap
Bypass filter of your choice
Full Flow filter if you choice
BP67 Petcock Valve (My choice for sampling pre filter)
BP251 1/4" hose if you need extra


If memory serves it comes with 8' of hose and the connectors to make your own length. I ordered an extra 8' because i didnt know were i was going to mount it at first

Arborgardt, just curious, are you using the Amsoil bypass filter or an aftermarket one?

I use amsoil for both, the full flow and the bypass. AE080 and the 110 bypass. The bigger bypass is only a few $ more so i felt it was worth it. Plus it is an even 2qts additional to stock capacity.

Good call. I just oil changed mine after 22K, but I didn't think about going to the 110 on the bypass filter. Maybe in 10K I will get one.
