I have these steps and had them installed for about $1100 out the door. If you purchase them directly from amp-research, they are about $1300 or so. I live pretty close to amp-research, so there are a few installers that will sell them cheaper than amp-research will (they have to protect their distributors).

I am very happy with the steps. Let me know if you need any specifics.

Do you the names or numbers of these installers?

A place here in town wanted 800 for 4 kodiacs and 600 to install, the problem with the kodiacs is placement. With the Amp step there are no worrys.

When they install them for you did they mount to the frame? Anything you would have done diffrently?

I installed the Kodiaks about a month ago and so far I really like them. No problem with placement and they really make a difference when getting in the truck. I looked at the Amp-research ones and they are real nice but just to expensive.
