for all with smarty and tst....

If you have the adjustable timing on the tst, where have you found the best settings? I've tried sw6 with the tst timing on 12*, set at 2/0 on the standard program. I've also tried sw7 with tst timing on 3* also set at 2/0. I know everybody's truck will be different, but I'm looking for ideas as there are so many variables. Before the smarty, the truck ran best at TST on 6/4 standard program.

Well we have some of the same mods and engine except for CP3 and injectors. I have tried the Smarty SWs with timing and lowering TST to 3* or 6*. I believe mine does a little better with Smarty no timing and TST 12* Auto for daily driving. I turn up the EZ and set timing to 15* Auto for the track. My TST does not have pressure option either. I run an EZ for pressure and it does seem to smooth out the bottom end and some overall.

Daily driving I run SW #4 TST 05tt, Timing 12* and just 2/0 power settings with my EZ on Level 1. This is plenty of power and I get good mileage at this level.

Your right about so many options it is hard to really test them all completely.

Yah....where do you start and stop!

I have been running around for 5 months now...most often on:

3-1 03TT Timing on 6 degrees auto and the mild smarty on SW5. I am not so sure about my mileage...but I love the way it drives. I think I have naturally honed out my OEM injects...too much and the USLD is hurting too.

I run the SW 9 on Wild, and the TST on 1/0, 03TT, and 0° timing, and +1 Rail Pressure.

I haven't had time to check all of the settings...there are so manY!!!

But...your injectors and CP3 will change everything...its like starting over from scratch.

I would find a setting on the Smarty w/ timing that works nicely with your injectors and modded CP3. Not necessarly the strongest...but the best. Not too much smoke...not too sensative of a throttle...etc. A good "starting platform".

I would then tune in the TST over the top for kill mode. All the additional duration and timing you need. That way...you are NOT changing downloads all the time.

sooooooo, what are you setting it at?

Today I had good luck with the smarty on sw6, tst on 3/0 standard program, 12* timing. The truck seems to run a little better with the tst doing the timing, but egt's are lower with smarty doing the timing. So 6* is the most anybody has went on the tst along with an odd numbered smarty program?
