I get 16.9 average around town, not towing, 8000-8500 lb curb weight. I will do slightly better on the highway. Twenty eight towing..........where's my flag?

My bad. Wasn't thinking Imperial

Like above...28 towing is BS
If you are getting 16 to 18 with mixed driving, that sounds about right. Terrain has a lot to do with it. i get 18 to 21 with mixed driving. 80% highway and 20% city. My highway driving is also pretty flat roads and that is the biggest advantage I have. Also staying around 65MPH helps.

You're still probably running winter fuel as I am. In winter, I'm down at least 20% regarding fuel economy. I don't check the mileage in winter, I just fill it when its empty. Its too depressing. Is your truck getting up to operating temperature?
