alarm problem

this is an intermittent issue with no apparent pattern. when i use the remote door opener the lights flash and the drivers door unlocks. then i open the door and the horn blows like a cheap.....
hit unlock button again and it stops.
sometimes it happens, sometimes it dont.

My truck will alarm pretty much every time if I open the door immediately after unlocking with the fob. If I count to three before opening the door after unlocking it with the fob the alarm will not sound. I have a feeling there is a delay in communication between whatever controls the door locks and the alarm. It rarely happens anymore once I became aware of this.

Mine does that once in a blue moon. It only happened like 2 or 3 times, but if I remember right, it was almost click and open. Must not have been given time to say everything is clear.

I also noticed (quick test) that I used the FOB to unlock the doors and the windows were down the whole way. I waited until the back light went back out and then tried to open the door (still showing it was unlocked). Alarm went off right away, hit the fob again and it stopped.

I was mostly testing to see if it resets after 30 seconds or something like that. Looks like once the back lights go out, it resets though it left the doors unlocked.
