AirDog problem

Well I intalled the airdog 150 30psi and it was really noisy but tightend up all the fittings and it has quieted down. Now my problem is that when going full throttle the truch coughs and sneezes and sounds like its running out of fuel. And then it died on me at a light. The tank is full and I dont know whats going on. Airdog said I might be putting too much pressure to the CP3 and blowing the relief valve. I really need help with this. Thanks

I thought 20 psi is all the cp3 would want continously? I only get 18 psi out of my airdog 150 but it's rock solid and never moves

Change the spring for the regulator and see how it does. Thread sealer on those fitting will make it barely audible when you first turn the key and the engine is not running.

Did you install the draw straw or did you run a line through the stock tank cannister?

Did you run the line directly in the CP3 or did you run the line in to the fuel filter cannister?

I run my AD100 to the factory fuel filter canister. No issues at all. I wouldn't think that is it.

I used HDR's mod kit for the cannister and ran the line directly to the cp3.

Be interested to find out what you find when you drop the tank, sucks that it's full, maybe try siponing out as much as you can?

I had a similar problem with my install and it turned out that I had ran the return to tank line to the CP3 instead of the supply line. If the fuel lines leaving the airdog dont cross (the front fitting goes to the tank the rear fitting goes to the CP3) you have the two fittings interchanged. I hope this helps!!!
