Airdog is installed..now a couple of questions!

Got it on, works good, louder than stock, but you'll know its on! We bypassed the stock canister, so what should I do with the WIF light and the other plug on the canister? I left it plugged in, but I don't know if it will set the CEL off or not. Is there an eliminater kit for it that may block off those plugs? Or will I be fine leaving it? Thanks in advance!

I have had mine unplugged for about 2 weeks now and I have not got any CEL....I used a GDP filter eliminator bracket to ditch EVERYTHING... I like it.... it looks really clean under there now
btw you have to use the GDP bracket cause the engine return lines run through the stock filter bracket.

I have not had any issues with mine yet, I left all the stock pieces in place. I also did not have any issue with my kit, but I ordered the kit for a inside frame mount long bed. We did run into a problem with one for a short bed inside frame, we ended up mounting it on the frame on the outside.

Ya, I know Chris!!! I'm just glad its on and NO Problems. And roxj, I did not have any issues with the brackets, though it wouldve been nicer if they were slotted holes instead of single. I also had heck with getting the big fuel line into the vicinity of the quick connect uptop the tank. But other than that, the install was pretty straightforward, scratched my head a couple of times, but got through it with a peace of mind!!!

For those who left the canister and stock fuel lines in place, did any of ya'll have diesel leaking from above the fuel tank? I felt around the quick-connect up there and it felt fine no leaking, but something is leaking. The only thing I could think of was the old fuel line bleeding out because I didn't drain the canister. Any thoughts?

you probably did like me and went and filled the tank all the way full.....when I did the oem supply line leaked diesel...I came to the conclusion that it was sloshing around in the tank and making it's way to the line that was disconnected at the filter inlet..I ended up connecting the supply line back up and plugging the filter outlet hole...it never leaked after that...then I did the GDP bracket about 2 weeks ago

Cool, thanks Mark, I'm just loving it, the Smarty feels much better, especially in the higher rpms, it pulls stronger than ever! I'm surprised my clutch is still holding on after almost 3yrs 80,000 miles of enhanced performance!!! It also "seems" (may be just me) the turbo spools on demand a little quicker.

Mark, would the 'Dog be loud enough to feel the vibration inside the truck when you turn the key. It makes a loud noise, no air leaking, but it may be normal? When the truck starts I don't hear it. Am I worrying too much?
