Airdog install question
I am getting ready to install my Airdog 150 and i have a question about the return line from the CP3. I plan to run the airdog straight to the CP3 and by pass the stock filter canister since i have the airdog filters to do the filtering. My question is, if i run straight to the CP3 and bypass the stock canister, can the return lines off the CP3 that run back through the stock filter still be utilized with this type of setup. I know that i would have to cap the lines that feed the CP3 from the stock filter canister, but wanted to make sure that it was alright to keep the stock return lines that run through the canister intack. I know that i can buy a stock fuel filter canister delete plate from Glacier Diesel Power, but if i didnt have to i rather not cause i dont know what it would do when the sensors are unplugged if i would get warning lights on the dash like WIF. Thanks for the help

On my 06 the "return" line from the CP3 to the tank did NOT go through the stock fuel filter, it went straight back to the tank into the canister of the tank.
Have another look at yours, I'm sure it'll be the same, leave it connected.
At the Cp3 I removed the factory steel line that goes to the CP3 from the rubber hose and put it away. Do yourself a favor and blow the factory line out before taping it up or whatever you do with it. I just wrapped electrical tape around the ends thinking Iwas done but the fuel leaked past the tape and was dripping. If you're like me you always give a quick look under the truck before you get into it, I don't like drips, especially after putting in the AD, I was relieved to find what was going on and removed the tape and blew the line out then re-taped it.

Thanks for the info. So I can still run straight from the air dog to the cp3 and leave the stock filter canister in place? I guess I am confused as to what the two lines are that you would connect to the gdp fuel filter canister delete bracket are. Thanks

Thanks for the help. I read throught he instructions and it talked about removing the stock filter canister, said it was not neccessary, but recomended. So i will just cap the feed lines from the stock canister to the CP3 and leave everything else the way it is. Thanks again
