Just get the ad 150 now because you will wish you did later. If you dont want to drill a hole in your tank and dont want 1/4 tank issues give Chris a call at 1-888-NOT-YURS (668-9877). He knows his stuff and he will hook you up with whatever you need.

The 100 is all most people need, it's also a slightly easier install if you mod your canister or a Liberty unit, see the link in my signature.
I think AirDog sells a kit to mod your canister now though, they didn't have that when I did mine.

Get the modified cannisters that Chris at HDR Diesel has available:
PM me for his email or cell phone!
With this cannister, install is cake!
You WILL NOT have to cut, splice, or do anything with the fuel filler neck.
You can drop the tank and NOT have to worry about removing the large bed.
You WILL NOT NOT have to measure, cut, or worry about the draw straw length.
You WILL NOT have to pop a hole in the fuel tank!
You simply remove the stock cannister and drop in the replacement cannister. How much more easy can that be?
The kits can be purchased for you to modify on your stock cannister or you can get the whole, entire cannister.........like I did.

I so happy I went with the HDR Diesel cannister, because it made the install alot easier compared to having to install a draw straw or even modify my stock fuel cannister.
I can honestly say that the truck feels stronger, especially when going from a dead stop or when mashing down on the pedal at about 30 MPH, it just pulls alot smoother and faster.....it is like the stock pump just could not keep up and the fuel flow is now readily available.

D45, Glad the install went nice and smooth. I am hoping that I can get my modified cannister in the truck after easter weekend. Chris is a great guy and can help with whatever you need. I am not sure if he has anymore of the completed cannisters left, but the kit looks pretty easy to do.

Keep in mind the canister for your 06 will look different than the one above.
I also think he coulda used better washers on the top, those look like plain ordinary ones that will rust pretty quick.

I can say I am very satisfied with my AD100. dsl21, if that is all you are seeking and you are set on that then the 100 will be perfect. But if you have any doubt you will be able to control yourself after all those mods then get the 150 and be prepared.

I couldn't help myself, for the same price why not get the higher flowing pump? My 150 just got to the house yesterday and this modified canister sounds like a good investment. Especially if it make the job doable without lifting the bed, now I am just going to have to burn some fuel or try using my TV jack to lower the tank... I will have to call Chris tomorrow on my day off and see what we can get done.
Thanks for that info
