you wont have to crawl under the truck because this location is under the bed. so when you remove the bed you can get to everything easily. you will have to mod the bracket though. i cut off the flat portion which the thin ad bracket bolted to and also cut off the remaining L shaped portion from the sandwich bracket protion. i didnt use either of the two remaining sandwhich bracket halfs.
then i welded the L shaped portion onto the flat portion w/ the 3 holes in it for the ad bracket to bolt to. the just drilled 2 holes through the top of the L shaped plate and through the crossmember and bolted evrything up.
im sure this isnt a very good explination but it really is simple to figure out once you look at the brackets and crossmember.

looks good! no way for the driveline come up and hit the filters on compression right??
BTW you are not supposed to use thread sealer on AN and JIC threads!
they are specifically designed to seal with out the use of any thread sealer.

no way, i made sure to measure that before the install. theres about twice as much clearence from the ad to the drive shaft as there is from the leafpack to the bumpstops. plus i would hope i never have the rear compressed that much anyway, if so i will likely have more problems then a couple filters
