AirDog 150 & Aftermarket tank install question

Has anyone installed the Airdog 150 on a Transfer Flow or Titan midship replacement fuel tank?

With the Holiday weekend coming up i'd like to finally get my Airdog 150 setup installed and since i'm dropping the tank to put in the new pump I'd rather just replace the whole fuel tank with a new Transfer Flow or Titan tank and get the added fuel capacity. My only concern is with all the problems that have come up with the airdog installs what kind of problems can I expect once the tank gets down to 1/4 or below...I really want the 55+ gallon capacity not 38-40 gallons and then have to fill up.

Ideas and suggestions more than welcome!!

Thanks

just watch how you put your draw straw in, dont cut it too short!
it shouldnt be any diferent than doing the install on a normal tank.

I'm interested in this as well. I have heard it is a work in progress, so hopefully someone will get it figured out and report back.

Aren't those tanks $1000?
You'd think they'd come with all the plumbing wouldn't you?

they actually use the same sending unit? You remove your unit and install theirs don't ya? it won't be any different than installing it in a stock tank. plus it is not just an airdog thing. it is a big line draw straw thing.

I am pretty sure they come with OEM style canister mounts??? least I think Titan tanks do...but Chris I called them a month or so ago and they did not have the mega cab tank ready yet.....

transfer flow has one. Titan don't. I am also in the process in making a bed tank that flows around the stacks to use up all the room i can. should be around 100 gallons or so when done. Also going to be a water/meth tank incorporated with the fuel tank that should be about 25 gallons! LOL...

At this point I'm not certain what I'm planning Both transfer flow and Titan use the stock sending unit so I'm guessing after reading 53willy's thread on the AD150 install I'll probably attempt to do something along those lines. Piping the return and draw straw directly into the bottom of the sending unit.

So at this point i'm still trying to decide the best course of action. I would venture to guess I'll probably go with a Titan tank and get a Liberty canister and get it all setup and tested before dropping the stock tank. That should make the install process pretty painless. I can't get the bed of the truck off by my self so need to get it right the first time.
