AirDog 100/150 30Psi?
Time for a lift pump...first do I get the 100 or 150? Seems like alot of guys get a 100 then are upset they didn't get 150. What about the 30 psi units? Can't beat the sale they have going on now...

It's NOT about psi to make good hp
It's about sustained VOLUME. AD has a new one out there they showed at SEMA. I believe it is a 180/230gph. Notice they are rated by GPH,... that's volume. What do (2) cp3s give you,... volume at a sustained rate. That and matching air gives you the hp you seek.
Since everyone always wants more hp it is not a good idea to go with the 100 gph, IMO,.... at least go the 150.
AD's in-tank setup with the 1/2" draw straw eliminated the 1/4 tank fuel delivery problems for me. It works like it should and Charlie and Co. did a nice job on development.
For you guys looking for the "sky is the limit" you really need to look at Opie's Gusher manual pump.
I found you really want a pump that pulls down say a lb or two when you jump on it and then it holds rock solid all the way out. In my experience you need to set such a pump at between 16psi and 18psi and if it has the nads to hold the psi, via the volume it makes, then your good for whatever you want to throw at it.
Hope that helps.

yeah you got the right idea Pat!! that's what you want is volume not PSI...those 30psi AD's will not move the same volume of fuel at 30psi as it will at the normal 15psi preset....
dodge CP3's dont mind higher psi's...but from what I have seen the Chevy cp3's do not like much over 20psi....
the new Airdog II demand flow is gonna BE PIMP!!!

My pressure doesn't really drop at all with Crazy Larry, I'd think the AD 100 is good for 600 HP and the install is a little easier with ther Liberty unit and 1 draw straw.

Heres the scoop on our units. 98.5-up Dodge units come set at 15-17 psi. The 94-98 kit comes set at 30 psi w/optional 40 psi spring. The only thing different in the units themselves is the spring in the return side of the pump. These can be changed with no problem. Its just 1 spring. Take the other out and put the new in. I think they are like $3. Its not really a "Kit". Its a very simple spring change thats all.
