There is more than one AFE Stg II out now. There is a less expensive one that doesn't have a lid on the air box. It's basically a Stg I with a Torque Tube. Smaller filter and smaller tube than the original Stg II.

Well like I said, I would get an AFE Stage II if $$$$ was not an issue.


I was looking to spend $250-$275.

If it was me, I'd either do the *****'s whistler, or I would wait for a month or so, and check out what Injen/Amsoil are gonna be releasing

Personally I would think that saving the extra $$ would be worth doing a *****'s Whistler. Inexpensive (compared to AFE) and does a great job. Why pay the big bucks for the same performance?

Just FYI: I emailed K&N about the CFM ratings on their intake kit (57-1532) for my truck and received this information:

"Thank you for your interest in K&N products. That filter on the Intake
will flow 1063 CFM."
