Which Air Intake Kit?

1) Banks Ram Air
2) S&B SGT-2 Intake Kit
3) AEM Brute Force

All are about the same price.......about $250-$275

Which and why?

My Dad has an AFE stg 2 on his, I have an Airraid w/ afe torque tube. If I were you I'd buy an afe stg 2, awesome fit and quality. Mine is nice, but the filter isn't as large as some of the others I've seen. Why are you only listing those three, your leaving much better units off the table?

Keep an eye on the classifieds, I have seen a couple this month from 200-250 bucks. I have an AFE 2 and love it. The turbo really sings. But for the money I would do the ***** whistler

AFE stage 2. Awesome intake, nice fit and looks great. If you go with the PG7 you get filtering efficiency as close to OEM as possible. Only other filter that comes close is the S@B 8 layer- but I don't think their intake as a whole is as nice as the AFE stage 2.

I went with the PSM cool power intake, with an Amsoil drop in filter, and an AFE torque tube. Very good bang for the buck and it is one of the VERY FEW TRUE COLD AIR INTAKES on the market. HERE is a link...

Well with the money I have spent on mods I just can't make myself by something less expensive if it is not what I want. I had an AFE Stage I and Torque Tube and when the Stage II came out I could not stand it. Had "FILTER ENVY" bad. Sold the Stage I and TT and bought the Stage II with PG 7, now have the ProDry S filter. Maybe thats why I never have any money left...

I do like my AFE Stage II, ProDry S and pre-filter, and yes I paid around $400 for the Stage II with PG 7 originally.

Run the PG7 with the Prefilter and you'll get about as close to 0 PPM silicon as you can...robs you of a bit of flow though...I had 2 ppm in 6000 miles last UOA.
