Air intake for cummins
#16
So can someone point me in the right direction for more info on the icebox and DPP cool hose, Looks like a sweet setup. Could someone run a different filter other the S&B. Like maybe a dry filter?

I'm runnin an AEM Brute Force HD. It's dry and I'm real happy with it. That combined with the sr removed, it would be hard for me to believe any other would allow the turbo to spool faster or whistle any louder. But most important, it seems to be doing its job well, especially considering these west TX sand storms we get. Never any fine dust on the inside of the inlet tube. Clean as a whistle.

I am running the Volant cold air and like it a lot. If I were getting one now I would get a S&B. The S&B is almost the same for less money and looks better.
The Icebox looks great but that's a lot of money for about the same effect.

you can build your own intake for about a hundred dollars. no cold air kit is worth a couple hundred dollars for a plastic tube, an air filter and a sheetmetal box I will pass on that!
