The Hadley Bully kit isn't a bad choice - still has a good sound, although not quite as loud as the "one-grand" kit
Bully Horns
I've seen this kit listed in the JC Whitney catalog for $249 (but couldn't find it on their online site).
If you just want a good sounding air horn (please, stay away from any of the direct-drive, or <gasp> plastic horns - they sound like grabage), without a lot of reserve (the 1/2 gallon tank is good for about an 8-second blast), and don't want to be able to run air tools, this kit would be perfect.

I have a set of grover horns that I picked up from Rickson Truck Accessories http://www.ricksontruck.com/aboutus.html I already have an air compressor and tank from my onboard air system so all I needed were the horns and the valve.

Quick question:
Is it the shape of the horns that determine if you get a big rig sound, say, versus a train sound? Or does it also have to do with the compressor, etc?
I've wanted an air horn for a long time, but I'm afraid of getting it and it sounding completely different than I want (which is a big rig sound!).

Look on top of any big rig... that's the size horn (or horns) you'll need to reproduce their tone. You can't do it with a smaller horn. And, of course, as the horn size increases, so does the volume/pressure of air required to drive it.

I had Hadley Bully's on the White Obsession for 3 years with no problems at all. I purchased another Hadley Bully Kit from Camping World for the GHOST RIDER.

I installed the Grover dual 1604 on mine. With the prices I'm seeing I can't tell if its with the tank and pump or what. I had to get the whole works and I paid $300. It took me some doing installing everything. A 4 gal tank takes a little doing on the install. Loud? My wife says they shake the house. Yes, they're loud.
