Air Bags on an 06 Yet?
Howdy. Has anybody installed Airlift Air bags on the rear of their 06 truck? I have a BW turnover hitch, wondering if I can weld air bag brackets to the BW brackets? Any info would be appreciated.

I have a B&W turnover ball and firestone bags with in cab controls, the bags were not welded on the brackets though. I can send you detailed pics if you need just pm me. I installed the Firestone "Ride Rite's" on my '06 last night. I had purchased the "Air Lift's" but was fairly disappointed in their mounting brackets. They offset the bag on the lower bracket and I think over time there would have been stress induced failure on the bag. I've used the Airlift's for well over 200000 miles on my previous trucks and have been happy with them. The Ride Rite's bracketry was MUCH better in this application and installation was very straight forward. Go with the Firestone bag's in this application in my opinion.
