Aftermarket EXhaust Manifold ?
Deciding On a Exhaust Manifold -- If I am going to Ditch the Stocker, I will do it at the Same time I up-grade my
Turbocharger from Stock to an HTT 62-65-13ss-- OR 62-71-13ss OR
An SPS-62-65-14 , I have herd mixed reviews on any real data on EGT Reduction from Any of the aftermarket Manifolds, Looks Like their our a few more vendors out there providing this service now adays, I have always used the ATS Exhaust Mainfold on my 3- Past Dodge Trucks. Was curious if anyone has done any independant Testing on Aftermarket Manifolds as far as before And after results from Stock to aftermarket , in Say a 1/4 Run Time where notiable Lower EGT's documented based upon running a stock charger and an aftermarket Single Charger. I just want to justify the expense along with results to to ease my mind about expenditure. How much Drop in Egt's are people seeing with these ATS and Other Units.
Does And of them Offer A Heat Treated Manifold. And now were seeing these New Header Type units trying to work there way to market , will be interesting to see if they pan out.

Check out everyones sigs. and you'll see if they're using any aftermarket ex. manifold.
IMO and from what I was told/advised that I don't need the man., there is no real advantage until you're higher in hp or using twin turbos. Only change if your's is cracked.
Same advise on the inter-cooler, the stock one does a great job. Yeah the the aftermarkets are 'pretty', shiny, but with that money between the ex. man. and i.c., you better start thinking about a trans. with billet shafts.
If you start playing with more hp, the stock trans. will fail. I know first hand. I had the bdpmt on extreeme once too many (3 times) and lost my trans. completely.

I have the ATS and it looks cool. I did the turbo and manifold at the same time so I cant tell you if it helps with spool or egts. Do they even have an SPS 62/65/14? I thought the sps was 62/71/14 and the PS was 62/65/12. Anyway, I will say that the sps62 is a great street turbo but looking back I would have went a little bigger...maybe a silver62 or sps64.
