Brakes on a 3rd gen are really good. I don't see an exhaust brake on your truck. I would recommend an inline Pacbrake since you have twins it looks like.

With 19.5's and 100+gallons of fuel on board it takes a while to bring her to a stop. Not bad though. The front pads are looking thin @ 100K lol Fig I would upgrade. I would love an inline pacbrake. Any sponsors sell those?

Yeap, The DTR store sells them. Send Larry(TOP) a PM and he can get you a price. He gave me one and it was a good deal. Other things took the funds so that will have to be later.

Thanks for the info. Still interested in any feedback on after market calipers, rotors and pads.

Haven't tried anything from this company, but maybe someone here has tried these?

Frozen Rotors® from Diversified Cryogenics deliver increased performance and a higher level of safety while significantly reducing braking system costs. Our proprietary, 60-hour cryogenic process permanently and dramatically improves the usage life and stability of brake rotors to create a distinct advantage in tensile strength, abrasive wear resistance and rotor longevity.

A PXRB exhaust brake and F1 valve springs will stop you better than any pads .....for towing they are the cats buttocks. KS

X2 on the exhaust brake and...

what about the brakes on your trailer?

I let the GN do the heavy braking when I'm hooked to it.

I installed aftermarket "cryo" rotors and performance pads on the front only, I think ART. I can't say that it was really worth the cost. The stock brakes on these truck are good. Definitely go with a exhaust brake!!

Good to hear on the rotors, I won't waste my money. All good advice on the exhaust brake. Takes that little pucker factor out of crossing the crest of a 9% downslope for the next 3 miles pulling a 10K lbs trailer...
