Affects of 1in. Shorter than Stock in a Drag Radial

I finally decided to go ahead and run the M&H Race Master 29.5X14.5 drag radial. I was wondering what affect this wil have on overall top speed and rpm's through the 1/4mi.? I'm allready bumping close to the limiter now with trap speeeds of 108mph. So will the effective gear ratio change lower the speed limiter setting? Will this limit the top end performance even though I gain a lot in the hole shot?

Your speedo will be about 6.6% fast. So when it reads 108, you will be going 101..

A US gear overdrive is what you need. I was told by my tire guy that they are coming out with 31 and 33" 17" drag radials suitable for trucks. I'm sure they are available now on a limited basis. ks

ABC, please enlighten me!!! I been on this search for some time and seemed futile at best. Hence the reason I just figured to run the M&H's. Haven't ordered them yet, so if those tires are for real just PM me their info.
