Is it really worth buying a stage II or should i just buy a volant cold air intake system? People seam to really like the volants from what ive read. I mainly want it for the most whistle possible. any info on boath would be appreciated.

I have had the AFE Stage I with Torque Tube and now the Stage II. Both with the Pro-Guard 7 filters and Pre-Filter. I am happy with the AFE and filtering. It is one of the highest priced air intake systems out there. Probably a little over priced, but it is a quality setup and the Pro-Guard 7 filter is rated high in filtration. I had absolutely no dust or particles get thru the filter in the first 25,000 miles. I pulled it off regularly and did the white glove test on the intake tubing and turbo inlet. There is probably some vanity cost that is tacked onfor those of us that want the "best". But I have so much money in this thing now that it was a drop in the bucket so to say. Just my experience and .02.

I second that. I have tried several different filters and AFE stage II w/proguard 7 would be my choice again.
