AFE Stage 2 installed - boost help ?
Hey guys I have received valuable info on here before and hoping you can help yet another time.
So I installed a AFE Stage 2 kit with Pro dry and my boost numbers have shot way up as compared to before with the stock setup. It is easy to hit high 20's low mid 30's
this may be a stupid question but higher the boost does that equel lower fuel economy ?
It builds up at lower rpm allot sooner and also when crusing it sits at higher boost then before.
Thanks

Sounds about right for what I see in your signature. More boost at that level should not be lower fuel economy. If anything it will be better fuel economy. Of course that is dependant on your right foot. High 20s to mid 30s on stock turbo is fine for an 04.5.
You have just opened up the air intake and allowed the turbo to spool quicker and a little higher.

as soon as I step on her about 3/4 throttle she's up to 36 psi and I haven't even had her to the floor yet.
Kind of had me worried like she's gonna blow, sounds like a 747 taking off

The Juice/Attitude on Level 3 and up can push 40psi on a stock turbo. 36psi is about at the stock turbo max efficiency, but a little higher on WOT won't hurt it.

Thanks guys.....but I was looking for just the replacement DRY filter.
I sent an e-mail over to xtreme diesel but no reply yet.
AFE website doesn't show (or I just can't find) the dry replacement part number.

Yea the AFE site is one of the hardest to locate any replacement filter part numbers. I posted it a while back. I will see if I can find the reciept again if yall need it.
