Dry..just because it's easier to maintain....oiling filters is a pain in the rear.

Dry Pro's - Easier to clean/maintain, Flows more air

Oiled Pro's - Filters fine dust better

I have had both intakes on my trucks. I am currently running the Prodry. I can hear the turbo whistle when it is idling and I can definitely hear the airflow and turbo under acceleration.

Cleaning an oiled filter is an all day deal. Once it is clean, you are supposed to let it sit and dry naturally then oil it.

For the most part, you can clean the dry filter by tapping the dust/debris out or using a shop vac.

i am going to call Larry in the morning to see if he can get one. He sold me my MBRP exhaust for at least $200 off MSRP.

If he cant get one, they are selling them on Ebay now. Just search for Afe dodge cummins dry.

Dry 'S' all the way! I've ran all 3 of the AFE filters and so far, I like the dry the best. I got mine from Lary, DTR store. I got pics in my gallery.

Isn't that what I said

There are two tests they use (Coarse dust and Fine dust). The Proguard is .1% better at filtering coarse dust. They did not do a fine dust test or the have not released their findings.

For what I drive, the Prodry is more than fine and still should filter as good or better than the stock filter with much less restriction due to a much greater surface area.

Mr Ellis is the man to buy from. No doubt you will get the best deal and it supports the site!

I believe stage one is the air box and filter. Stage 2 also includes the torque tube to the turbo. If I've read everything correctly.
