AFE Filter Cover
I've seen the covers out for the AFE filters. Question, do these covers help keep the dirt out of your filter? How much does it restrict air flow? Where to buy and how much are they? Thanks

They do keep the dirt out. Air restriction is somewhere around 10%, so I have heard. I think I paid around $10-15 for mine from www.genosgarage.com

I would certainly think that the 10% restriction wouldnt mean much considering the AFE has alot more surface area over the OEM filter

I felt no difference in seat of the pants performance after installing pre-filter (cover). Seems to do the intended job, leaving mine on.
