Will adding an AFE filter void my warrenty?

Yes again.....

I believe that if you have any turbo problems and it is determined that you had an oiled media air filter than Cummins will void the warranty on the turbo. It won't affect the entire warranty on the truck.. Their claim is that those types of filters will let dirt and other damaging particles through that can destroy the workings of the turbo....

 

Why do so many people use the after market filters if they void you warrenty?

 

better flow, throttle response and cooler EGT's. Most guys are doing other power enhancements too so, the cooler the EGT's the better...
