Aeroturbine 4040L or Mbrp replacement mk96116
I have my choice narrowed down between 2 mufflers. The aeroturbine 4040L and the Mbrp replacement muffler.
I can do the Mbrp by myself and will need the shop to do the aeroturbine. 200 for the mbrp 350 installed for the aero. The aero has a built in resonator. I don't want the truck much louder, its fine how it sounds now but I want to open it up some. The mbrp might be loud without resonator and the aero says it has no drone. Any help would be appreciated.

i have a aeroturbine 4040 and the only thing i dislike about it is that the turbo barks out the exhuast and it sounds like crap. i am considering that new mbrp power tube? or what ever they are calling it.

I have the Aeroturbine set up 2" off of the Cat.
I have had nothing but compliments about the sound.
The only one that sounds this good is the Donaldson.

I don't think you have heard mine, but I also have the aeroturbine on my 03 and love the sound and feel that I get a little umph and mileage out of it also.

I had the the aeroturbine 4040L and I didn't like it. It was exactly what I was afraid of... My truck sounded like a diesel with a fart can muffler. Right now, I have it straight-piped. The staight pipe has a good sound, but it is too loud- so Im going to try a donaldson muffler.

i have the mbrp muffler and still have my cat on. it isnt a lot louder but it is definatly deeper and lets you know it is a diesel. no drone inside, actually cant even tell it is there without my window open. outside i think it sounds great without atracting attention from the popo
