I'm considering getting the aeroturbine 4004L. I can get it installed for 240.00

is this a good price?
Any pros or cons?
Any advice?

or should I just go with the motoblue 4" turbo back system for 325.00

yes...it is exactley 3x more expensive and sounds worse than getting a donaldson or nelson muffler.

FWIW, I went with the Motoblue 5" turbo back and love it. The fit and finish was exact and it sounds great. I was extremely pleased with how easy it was to install.

I have a 4040. Paid $200 shipped to my door, had a friend install it for free at his muffler shop. The fit and finish were outstanding. At idle it sounds great, and when you get on it, it sounds even better. I am very pleased with the look and the sound. Has a nice deep rumble.

It sounds much better than just a straight piped truck. But I have never had the opportunity for a side by side comparison of the systems cquestad mentioned.

What is the difference between the 4040L and the 4040 aeroturbine?

I have a 4040L installed to end of the cat. and it sounds very, very nice. I did put on a turndown to reduce the sound some because I tow most of the time and under heavy load it can get old after 4 hours or so.
The 4040L has a small resonator in it, and it has a lower tone and less noise.
