I had one and couldn't really tell you that it was any better than my STR8 pipe... It's a cool design though! Is it worth it? I say no, but there's others out there that really like them... Still cheaper than Banks!

I'm running the 4040XL on my '08, but haven't had a chance to see if there is any MPG improvement. It does sounds healthier though and I haven't heard any drone.
Plus I got mine from someone that bought the wrong one (wrong exhaust size) so I got it cheap.

AeroTurbines do a great job of increasing exhaust velocity (and delta P across the turbine) - they work even better in conjuction with a free-flowing intake system.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
I think the advantage to a 5050xl over a straight pipe is control of the noise. There's definitely a difference of sound, in cab and outside, and under load or just cruising. It's hard to hear the difference on the internet over computer speakers since there are so any variables, including personal tastes. Hearing a comparison is person is much clearer.
