I removed my Aem for two reasons. One was that the metal air tube got hot to the touch. So I assumed that the cool air flowing through the tube might get heated in the process. Two the air sounds (not the turbo whistle) got to be to much for me. Now that I have the universal Amsoil Nano cone filter. I'll try wrapping the metal tube with some exhaust wrap and put the nano filter on there.

Have you experienced any turbo bark with the Workhorse?
I have the regular AEM and here turbo bark when it changes gears while towing with the automatic. I put it on my six speed and hear it if I let off the go pedal too fast.

I would say yes. Someone else on another forum recently dyno his comparing to the Bruteforce he had installed. His results were a little more horsepower and torque at a lower rpm and egt. I've noticed a difference from the AFE I had. I removed the silencer ring yesterday and can really hear the turbo sing now. It' great.
