AEM Workhorse

I found a pretty good deal on these, but before I get one, was wondering if anyone was running it? I have seen them for $269 for the 94-02 trucks, and $299 for the 03-05 trucks with free shipping. I wanted to run a dry element, and this seems like it might be the perfect application.

On other forums the brute force got really good reviews filtered well and add more power. However it seems no one has really tested these though the website says they are an improvement... of course you can belive everything you read on the internet.

I have the Brute Force, works good, I don't know how much power, but it sounds good. Just be careful where you get it, ordered mine from RPM Outlet. And they gave me the big shaft. I ordered the polished alm. and they sent me the old stile painted silver one. First they said they were out of stock on the polished so I was luckily I got anything, they had a price increase, that AEM was redesigning them, I can't have my money back, now they won't even return my e-mail. Just remember that name RPM Outlet. I should do a whole post on them and let everyone read their e-mail they sent me.

Why not make your own. I have a write up on this on another site, and you could accomplish it for around 150.00 and about 30 min worth of time. It performs just as well if not better that the aem systems. If you want the info on this I can get that done for ya. Let me know.

I 've had both good an bad with RPM outlet. They seem to do what they want whether you agree or not. I love the filter but got tired of the "sucking air" sounds so I put my filter in the S&B setup. I love it. I'm waiting to hear where I can purchase the larger workhorse filter only, then add it to the S&B or onto my AEM system.
