Been looking at upgrading my stock intake filter to the Brute force made by AEM. Think it will make a huge difference now on my 03 5.9l and when it comes time to upgrade the exhaust system.

Just wondering if anyone is using the this intake and how it is working out for you?

 

It is the loudest, Best looking, and has the best fit and finish. I took mine off, simply because I went too the AFE stg2 for more airflow (I'm pushing 600+). Other than that it is a great setup!!

I have one. It will be better than stock. It is pretty loud though. I took it off after about six months. I did like the turbo whistle. But the rushing air noise got to me. But I do like the dryflow filter.

 

Look in my gallery and you can get a idea of the fit and finish. I liked it, but went with the AFE stage II because the money came available and a bigger turbo came along.

 

check out the new work horse from AEM. it is supposed to be designed with our diesels in mind

 

I like it, it's not that loud if you leave the silencer ring in. I had the ring out two different times and put it back next day both times, really loud turbo whistle.
