Advice on Flux Injectors - Don M?

I have a set of 04.5 injectors heading my way and would like to have them redone for my 03 HO. I know the tips are different, but believe that the bodies are the same. I would like my set made to get the best compromise of mileage increase and HP gain while staying at or below 90HP. Seems like Don has said in the past that a Flux 1.8 (~70-80HP) is the best setup. I have a BD Power Pup that is set at 90HP now. I may go with a Smarty POD in the future. I also have a HTT 62/12 installed and a couple of intake options I've been running. Interested to hear the input.

Pete

Good question, i'm in a similiar boat with the 62/13 and Smarty....my main concern is keeping smoke down and egt's reasonable with my turbo....my current thougts are 1.6's (60hp)....of course i'd like 1.8's or bigger for more power, but this is my daily driver and traffic / busy city...i run smarty tnt level 7 and the smoke is boderline acceptable...

I'm in the process of searching the old posts, and in one, Don stated that there is a minor drop in mileage beyond 1.8. That is also about where I want to go HP wise. Still would like to hear something on compatibility of injector bodies.

No problem with the bodies, Im using 06 bodies my 1.8s. If your worried about smoke I can drive around with no smoke on most of the smarty tunes. 4.2 and 4.3 I can do it but its tuff

That is what I wanted to hear. I think that it would be a bonus for Don, since he could reuse the nozzles on a newer model truck and and I believe the 03-04 are made from scratch with better materials. Is your Smarty a POD, and if not what tune are you running? I'm still trying to figure out all the different Smarty configurations.
