adjusting headlights

I just put Sylvania Silverstars in my truck and noticed that they are aimed very high. The manual says nothing about headlight adjustment and I did not see any adjustment screws when I replaced the bulbs. They are pointed very high and without fail almost everyone I pass by on a two lane at night flips me the "high beam bird" Is there any adjustment other than putting washers on the light mount? Thanks in advance.

There is a T-20 Star adjustment screw on the inside behind the rubber surrounding the head light assembly. Open the hood look about the middle of the head light assembly just behind the rubber surrounding it. As far as I can tell this adjustment is up or down only.

I used this to adjust mine after 2" leveling and 315s. This was just trial and error. I think I finally wound up turning each side 3 full turns clockwise from where they started.

They appear to be much better now. I was getting blinked at by just about everyone. Havent been blinked at since I made the adjustments.
