Just curious if you can adjust the wastegate for higher boost on an early 07 dodge cummins stock turbo? Do you simply turn the actuator rod like you would on aftermarket turbos?

The easiest is via a programmer or chip since the turbo is electronically controlled. Otherwise you can shim the waste gate actuator from the turbo house with washers. You can do a search for waste gate mod for more details on the shimming of the actuator.

Can he not shut it off with his edge? I know he can set an alert notice with his edge. But what about boost increase? I thought the edge came with a boost fooler ?

I am not sure if anyone has an adjustable feature for it.. .just on or off.... Thou personally I would like one that moved it from 32 to 35 psi.

My friend said he was getting up to 42psi.

Yeah you can... but your out of the efficiency range of the turbo, and into the run here and your turbo will die range.

No, the stock wg limits boost to 25lbs. It might spike to 30+ but it will shut boost pressure down to 25lbs.

40psi is the limit for a stock charger, if you want it to last.

Hmm... thats the first I have heard that. When my WG open and I am empty it holds at 28-30, when i am loaded 30-32....

Yes, so it never opens... I am refering to when it opens on stock software... With the Jr I peak about 35... With stock software it peaks at 32 and depending on load will hold 28-30 or 30-32... Same on my dads 06.
