AC is Hissing
Ok so my original compressor failed so I replaced it with a brand new one also chd accumulator and the fixed oriface tube added 1 lb of coolant, oil 210CC (that seems like a lot but thats what the sticker on the old one said I was unable to locate or find the amount of oil for the new one) the AC works fine but it hisses and it seems to be when the compressor is engaged and it seems to hiss in the fixed oriface tube any ideas is this normal or did i add to much oil or not enough coolant any help would be appreciated

So as a rule when you replace a A/C compressor due to the fact that the refrigerant oil travels through the system when you remove the compressor and accumulator you should empty the oil old from both of these units and only add what you drained out from the two item and add a few cc to make up for what left behind due to viscosity.
My A/C takes 1lb 14oz. of refrigerant.
Also once the unit is installed and before you add the refrigerant you need to vacuum the air from the system for 30 min at 29" of Vacuum to remove the air and moisture before adding the refrigerant.
I have an 06 Dodge 2500 Quad Cab Diesel charge is different for Gas
