abs wire or speed sensor wire??
hi all
ive read about 400 pages of info on here and i cant seem to find my anwser,i have a 04 6spd and im trying to lose the 108mph limiter,i removed fuse 35 and 6 and for some reason the power is reduced,i have to push the pedal way farther down to go,i want to try the abs wire i read about but cant find a real awser where it is located,the clsest i got was a white with orange stripe on the abs module,is there a way to alter the signal going to the speedo or would that work,any help would be great guys

If you know someone that has a smarty, I beleive that they can change the stock limiter for you, and it will stay on there after they take the smarty off.

Smarty is your best bet.
Truck gets its speed from 1 of 3 abs sensors: 1 on each front wheel and 1 on top of rear axle. As long as 1 of the 3 are connected the speedometer will work. Disconnect all 3 and presto - no speedometer (and no odometer).

i have the pdf manual here and im trying to find the wire that sends the signal to the speedo,so far i found the wire that sends the signal from the speedsensor{i only have 1}and i get the same problem,low power,i would like to try the wire that goes from the abs module and to the insurment cluster,can anyone help,or tell me what page its on in the pdf manual,thanx so much
