Not what i want to see when i'm getting ready to order DTT parts through Fred Swanson tomorrow.....but i've been on these boards for a couple of years now without seeing many negatives against DTT and lots of positives....but if my invoice is 66666 i'm slowly walking away! Sorry to hear about your issues, i'm gonna freak if my $3500 requires another $3500 2 years later!
Good Luck

Yes, but part time. He's a recommended installer for DTT in this area, and i've seen a few articles about his work in magazines....talked to him the last couple of days...he's good people.
PM me and i'll give you my phone number and keep you in the loop if you wish.

Goerend TC
Thanks for all of the above recommendations on the Goerend TC. I ordered one up and have had in for about a week now.
The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was it's beafyiness. The lugs are machined into the forward housing. I should have taken a picture of it. It's quite the work of art.
It's also nice to see the test numbers written right on the housing. Kinda gives you a boost of confidence.
I'll be towing with it this weekend to give it a good workout.

Was low on fluid! The only way to be low on trans fluid is not topped off from the instalation,or a leak..Heat is the major reason of trans failures,if there is not a large enough cooler added to disapade the heat over time it will fail.Do you have a trans temp gauge installed to watch your temps....
