nice numbers! I know you were reaching for a thousand a while back and it sounds like you are very close to your goal.

So what's the rationale for plumbing it back into the dp instead of just dumping it into a shorty pipe aiming at the ground?

This approach would be simpler and reduce turbulence in the downpipe, but obviously it would be pretty messy when the wg pops if you are still smoking.

Thanks for humoring my questions.

The reason is I dont like things to look half a$$ed and it keeps the underside of the truck much cleaner. It's definately harder to do but most things worth doing are. The turbulance will only be a problem when the gate is open and that is a very short period of time, especially on the dyno.

So basically Tim wants to keep his boost pressure below 75psi....right now he is bleeding off the drive pressure boost coming out of the the top HTT to the downpipe to achieve this. This is alot better than putting BOV's on the intercooler pipe as when they blow the turbo can overspeed. This controls the intake boost at the exhaust....yep hard to plumb but worth it.

Nathan, I'll be calling you later on today to talk. Kerry

Tim,

Im still asleep from the drive back home. You did a great job. Next time lets start working on the HP before the week of the event. OK? LOL

900+ is around the corner. There is more in injectors and we found even more HP this early week with Smarty tuning. Marco is a great guy! I have a new friend. Too bad we all live so far apart.

life is good
