HAHAHA! I remember a post like that, but I don't think it was on this forum. It was a few years ago and a bunch of guys were trying to talk some sense in to him but I think it was in vain. I remember laughing so hard at that thread my stomach hurt. I don't know if it was the same one that you saw....but it was pretty good entertainment!

I work with alot of guys driving 1 ton dually Dodges claiming 22 mpg and 15 pulling 12-16k trailers. I was getting 15 and 9 pulling my trailer(16K) and put Banks Power PDA(best decision I ever made) and now I get 15 and 12. I need an exhaust and intake still, but are any of ya'll really getting 22 unmodded.

hahaha...we have another comedian!
the best ive gotten is 17 modded and like 18 stock? figure that one out. i havent towed the boat for a complete tank so i dont know what the loaded mpg would be, but id venture to guess 13ish

My 05 got great mileage modded unloaded.. Loaded was normally 10-12. I cracked an injector body, and got fuel in the oil.. I then decided I needed a stock truck to pull the trailers.. So I returned it to stock. Bad idea.. For whatever reason, the mileage is horrible. Around 12 mpg unloaded, and as bad as 6.0 mpg loaded hand calculated.. UGH..
