6inch blocks...
I have a 6 inch superlift sus lift...and I wanted to get a body lift...but Im being told by a few friends not to do this.
One suggested getting a 6inch block ( to replace the 4inch block in the rear) and then just add 2inch coil spacers in the front.
Would this work? Or would I need to do more mods? I do have a transfer case drop for the driveshaft already...so thats not an issue...but I cant see it being that easy.... help!

Personally, I wouldnt even be running 4inch blocks, I dont know if you tow, but the taller the blocls you will get terrible axle wrap, Id get new leaf springs instead

i think by doing this u will shift ur axle to the driver side
i bought my truck w/ a 2" leveling kit and added super lift springs it really mess my truck
un less u buy an adjustable track bar and u might need more but all the drops and control arms and made for a 6" lift not more

My truck is *hiding* a mall crawler LOL.
I dont own a trailer...yet. And when I do its a toy carrier..4wheelers, dirt bikes..harley, nothing big at all.
I didnt think it would change much changing the 4inch block that came with the 6inch sus lift from Superlift...for a 6inch block that is sold with 8inch lifts...
I will look into other options. Like I said...it was suggested to me, and I havent heard of it done before.

if you carry your dirt bikes or quads to the dunes...on the sand. axle wrap is terriable. if you do anything other than idle it will wrap. if you do end up going that big, ladder bars would be helpful.

dont change the factory leafs...spring rates are different n when u hookup that trailer you'll get a rowboat feeling..it just sways up and down..kinda hard to describe but im sure im not the only one that has felt it before...go add a leaf, blocks or even body lift

with the amount of money spent to buy decent ladder bars to stop the severe axle wrap that will be associated with 6 inch blocks-that money just could of been spent in getting new (add a) leaf springs or possibly a whole new leaf pack.

I already had ladder bars due to axle wrap with the 4" block and 40's. So I hesitantly went to a custom 6" carbon steel block as a trial when switching to radius arms. The ladder bars keep them perfectly in check and I still have my stock load capacity and ride.
I went to the track intending to push the suspension to the limits. I expected to break something, but didn't. So far, no problems with 4wheel launches or 2 wheel launches. Haven't done a real heavy sled yet, but I'm confident they will hold fine. I did upgrade to thicker hardware, thicker bolts when I did it though.

I second the leaf replacement. yes you can do blocks put it will sacrifice the ride. Leafs keep the load cap. and give you a stock or better ride with the added height. Also the just look cooler than a big ol block stuck under there imo. If you want ladder bars check out one up offroad, they have some trick bars with a lift block built in.
