Does anyone know of any dyno numbers with the Quad and Van Aaken 3.2? I have seen Dodgezilla's numbers with a SO, but I am wondering what numbers are possible with a 600 motor.

Supporting mods considered.

 

I'd bet you would be in the 400-425 hp range...

 

which quad box? tow normal or race??? 75 hp difference accross those three in max output.

 

He's got the Quad Standard box.

My best number was w/ the Quad on the 100hp setting & VA on high.

With the Quad on 140 and the VA on low my HP was almost the same but Tq was much lower.

 

I c that now, right in his sig how did 140 perform without the va ? did ya dyno all 3 positions?

 

I have the standard now, but will upgrade most likely. As soon as I find a VA box for sale, I will jump on it. I am hoping to get closer to 500. I may have to get injectors once they are available. I guess I will see.

 

Mikmaze, I wanted to try all the different combinations including stock but I couldn't tie up the dyno all day.

I did as follows:
Quad on 100hp and VA on high 341hp/714tq
Quad on 140hp and VA on high 335hp/683tq
Quad on 140hp and VA on low 340hp/666tq
Quad on 60hp and VA on low 303hp/571tq

The Quad is definitely the HP box and the VA is the Tq box. I lost around 15-20hp w/ the 315s and there was a 3% correction factor on the dyno so Tim said I could add 16hp to make up for the correction. That really puts me somewhere around 375hp. If I ever get a turbo I expect to be over 400hp. I am selling my H2 rims and 315s and going back to 265s so next time on the dyno my numbers will be better....
I'm not sure how an HO will fair with the same mods. You may even see better increases than my SO. Only one way to find out.....

 

I will post results after christmas after the DTT goes in.

All I will say is that you will be happy. My truck flies now and you are starting out with 70hp/140tq more than I did. Just do it!!

 

You are still on the stock turbo correct?
