6" miter cut stacks or undercover box buddy?

I really would like to put stacks on my truck, and Im sure I could sell my silverline 304 to cover most of the cost. Or buy the undercover box buddy http://boxbuddy.undercoverinfo.net/ in which case you cannot run stacks. The box buddy would be good for work, and may give me a little better fuel economy (not) but stacks would look a heck of a lot better. As I am not that bright I believe stacks have a flex pipe that ties into your factory exhaust, so I would need to find a factory downpipe and a few foot of 4" as I will not hack up my Silverline. Also I tow for work purposes and DOT is getting very strick around here, so I think I could add a shaken out Kitty to the stacks to get around the whole missing cat issue I have with my silverline. Any thoughts, what would you do?????

Why not have both? If you can find a good welder and fabricator it can be done. I have a custom box covering my stacks but it could have easily been made to have some storage built in. It could have also been made larger to accomodate even more storage. Just a thought.

6-7" Miters, or Turnouts, ending 1-2" above the cab, or right at cab height!
If I didnt have a shortbed(and a toolbox), id have stacks...

I would definetly go 6" mitres if I was doing stacks on my truck. I have a stock cat and stock exhaust that you could hack up if interested. The downpipe may be spoken for.
