6" lift cause driveline vibration?
hey, i have recently installed a lift, i corrected the pinion angle, but im concerned about the u joint ahead of it ( one peice driveshaft) when does a guy require a lower t-case mount? i think i might have some vibration, but i have claws, and it is hard to tell the difference, won't buy them again. have you guys had to clearance the u joints on the rear of the front driveshaft with a 6"? what about make new brackets for the brake / abs lines ? thanks

Check out this page, describes maximum allowable driveshaft angles for standard u-joints vs. driveshaft RPM.

6" you should be fine, unless you got a longbox, then you need a indexing rear for the rear 2 piece driveshaft. I've had my truck up to 100 MPH since doing the lift with absolutely no vibrations. Now I would say the increased angle is going to shorten the life of the u-joint for sure, but not anything crazy. It's been over a year and atleast 10k miles since doing the lift.
