HELP, 6" BDS Lift With 35" Toyo's & 20's???
I'm looking at buying this 2007 Ram 3500 with a 6" BDS long arm lift. It has 37x12.5x17 BFG Mud Terrains on ugly 17" rims. To make or break the deal is will this truck look silly with 35" Toyo Open Country MT's on 20" Ultra Predators??? I don't want to have to take the 6" lift out and replace it for a 4" lift. The reason is that I don't want to run 37" rubber due to the weight and drag of such big tires make the truck so much slower!!! 37's are also way more money and my company will only pay up to $1500.00/year for tires. The 37x12.5x20 are 2300.00/set and the 35x12.5x20 are 1500.00/set. What do you guys think??

I say leave the 37's. It will look SO small with 35's.
I see you are in Red Deer...call National 4wd in Calgary..might get you a better deal on the Toyo's.
Nice truck...same set up as mine

I think it will look way better than it does now. im not trying to be mean but it looks like they never cleaned those wheels since they put them on. I think 35s and 20" wheels would really set that truck off its pretty boring to look at now

I totally agree on the look. The rims on it now look like ****!! It is such a nice truck besides the rims. It's got every option... So 35's would look silly??? Where's a good place to get some 37x20 and should a guy go with BFG All Terrains or Toyo MT's??

I think you should stick with the 37's or drop the lift for the 35's.
This is only 3" front / 1" rear on 20" wheels w/35" MT's. Add another 3" of lift and it won't look as balanced. On the other hand, your truck has fender flares which might work in your favor with the extra height from a 6" lift.

Hey Now Brother!!! I'm watching Hogan Know's Best so everyone today is BROTHER!!
I never ever wanted to get rid of the old 01'. My family is growing and my 01' is too small and way too noisy, that's my excuse. I don't like Mega Cab's so this is the route. I see you have a little one too.

You betch ya bud. My son is my world, I just can't wait till he can help me bomb a diesel for him. This buying a newer truck is so frustrating. Dodge really changed the way they offer options from our generation of trucks. It's all or nothing with these newer trucks. I'm trying to find a White sport with all options buy they don't make that. It's a Laramie and I would have to change the front bumper, grille and rear bumper. Nothing like making it easy...
