571 on stock injectors and CP3.
I think I've gone as far as I can go with the stock injectors. Surprisingly, the rail was staying above 20000. All said and done, I'm rather happy.
Dynojet ~ 571hp, 1104 Tq. I did net 1126 tq on another setting, but only 563 hp.
BD twins, Wild Smarty 8/no timing, TST on early twins 6/4, and MP8 100%. I set the TST timing to 3,6, and 9 degrees and got 571 hp on all. Any higher would give me timing rattle and I'd kill the run early. I haven't actually looked at the graphs to see where the peaks are at.
After typing this, I just remembered I wanted to flip between the twins, early twins, and regular programs to find the better one.
Well, I'll have 3 runs at Carolina Automasters on the 10th, guess I'll try it then.

571hp/1104tq on stock injectors and cp3? Nice work! Is that with the 40" or 35" tires? It'll be interesting to see the gain you get from some sticks and a stage 2 or dual cp3 setup! Have you decided which size injectors you're going to get?

The dyno was with 35's cuz the 40's won't fit.
As far as sticks, I dunno. I'm debating on buying another truck in a couple of years to build. I might just stop this one where its at and build me a go fast automatic truck next.
Its tuff. I would like to keep going with this one, but if I do, I know it'll be cam, springs, twin pumps, and big ole flux's of some sort. I've even got a complete nitrous kit, I just keep thinking I'd have more fun in a sporty, mildly lowered automatic truck with all the good stuff on it. I just need alot more money.

The MP-8 SHould not be above 50%.
That is the source of your rattle.
Let the Smarty do the timing...and add 3 or 6 degrees auto from the TST...and go again.
You will break 600!

Nah, I had the rattle with only the smarty doing the timing when the TST was out getting updated. The MP8 is also detuned by Dennis for stacking so its not as mean as a regular one. Any time the smarty is set to 7 or 8 on the Wild and 4.2 beta, it rattles on my truck whether the MP8 or TST is in use or not. But you have given me some good ideas on what to play around with now.
Chet,
Buddy, I really would let you test it, but when you see how I've got it mounted, you'll understand why I can't.
