50k of Hard beaten Miles (MOTOR PICS)

I blew my Head gasket and thought I'd share what the what the cylinders and pistons looked like. I had multiple sled pulls (Very high egt's) and tons of blast over 1600 deg and 60psi of boost. The head gasket couldn't take it anymore so the head got pulled Here are some pics. To my suprise everything looked great. Zero carnage. Take a look at the spray patterns in the piston bowls. The cylinders also looked very good.

Cool Pics Chris. What kind of head gasket will you replace it with? I don't race or pull, just drive like a hooligan sometimes, but have heard the 3rd Gen HG are pretty good. Do they make better one for pullers and racers?

Na No water. Just good ol #2 I'm gonna leave the bottom stock because of fundage. But The head is getting O-ringed and I'm put A slightly larger 12v Marine gasket on to keep cylinder pressure lower and give me some more room for more fuel

Note to self: Remove dipstick when doing engine work on the truck. I don't have any drywall screws lying around.
