48RE Full Build in Edmonton

Well boys, I just can't bring myself to deal with NADP.
I stopped in at Mr. Transmission (2 blocks away) today and talked to him (Glenn) about a full build. Much to my delight they just finished one yesterday. Redline triple clutches, valve body and supporting shafts and all. He informed me that they have a new flushing device that hot flushes the entire system rads and all. He will give a 2yr. 60,000 km warranty.
He has rebuilt a 98 stocker for me before and I had no issues with that job. Best of all he uses my tranny/housing not some 300k plus junkyard special that was brought back to life from some scrap yard.

Just keeping the boys up North informed.
Thanks

I used Mr. Transmission one time and will never go back.

I probably should have filed a civil lawsuit against them.

ATS Dealer

Ya I talked to the guy at snow west - tranny sounded real good but price didn't. It was $6700.00 all in with what he said you required a Co-Pilot.
Some electronic lock up device to try and distract me as i drive.
What every happened to put it in D and hammer down?

He told me $5500.00 all in with the fancy t-flush. He also mentioned something about matching NADP 3 yr. also.

Try Brad's Transmission Service. (780)920-9511. He used to own Pro-Tech Transmissions, but sold out a few years ago. Rumor has it, at one time he built a lot of the trannies you saw at Bud Park. I don't know for sure, but worth a try.

If you don't mind the travel, my close friend Mel owns Excell Transmission here in Red Deer. Their number is 1-403-358-5589. He builds a KILLER tranny for any HP of Cummins truck and stands behind his work!!!

2X that, Excell is very good.

Also RATS (Rob = 604-866-7287) in Vancouver builds killer transmissions - exchanged, just need a local installer.
