Neither Just my opinion. I would get a hold of Dusty at HTS or Dave at Goerends.

Thanks,
Just want to make sure I"am heading down the right Path,
I have set up to have the BD tranny installed, because of the upgrades, verses new tranny same specs, different T/C..
Cost for New tranny around 5,500 ??

Everybody raves about Goerends and HTS. I know they are awesome transmission cos. They are great if you live in Iowa or Michigan.
But I wouldn't just want to buy one and have it shipped and pay somebody to install it. If there is a problem for some reason, (usually not, but any man made thing can fail)......then what? Are you going to pay somebody to pull it back out, ship it back to Iowa or Michigan, wait for repair, then they ship it back to you, pay to have reinstalled....all while your truck is down?
You better at least have a Goerend's or HTS authorized "installer" put it in.
My recommendation is to go with your transmission of choice (mine was DTT) and have a LOCAL TO YOU trans builder/installer do the work. That way if there is a problem then you have someone to turn to and hold accountable.
You wouldn't want the installer (non-authorized or even yourself) pointing fingers at the trans........or the trans co pointing fingers at the installer. My 2 cents.
